LE MARS — A longtime Gehlen Catholic Universities teacher is remaining honored with the Bishop’s Excellence in Education and learning Award.

“I was surprised and humbled by this award, which was given to me after one of our Masses in Could,” Bollin reported.

Bollin has been a teacher for 41 many years, with 39 of individuals at Gehlen Catholic.

Bollin graduated from Morningside University in 1979 with a bachelor of science diploma in elementary schooling, a math training slight and a library science small. She taught at Le Mars Local community Universities for two decades just before taking a situation at Gehlen in 1981.
